Margaret ran a non-profit girls and boys club. She performed a statewide criminal record investigation on all employees and thought she was safe when she hired Lee as a janitor. Months later, she received an anonymous letter notifying her that Lee had been convicted of child molestation. The letter included a copy of Lee's record from another state's sexual offender index.
