The Certificado de Buena Conducta is available only to persons physically present in Paraguay who have registered with the police, who possess a Cedula de Identidad and who apply in person at the Direccion De Identificaciones, Boggiani esq. Denis Roa. Asuncion. Although a Certificado de Buena Conducta is not available to non-residents, a "Certificado de No Antecedentes Policial" indicating that the applicant has had no police record, may be obtained by non-resident applicants. This certificate seems to meet the requirements of the immigration law and may be obtained through application of a representative, family member, friend or attorney at the office of the Cuartel Central de Policia, Chile y El Paraguayo Independiente. In order to obtain the Certificado de no Antecedentes the applicant must furnish full name, date and place of birth, nationality, address of last residence in Paraguay, place and name of employer in Paraguay, if any, period of residence in Paraguay, and the two numbers shown on the photo of the cedula. There may be a fee for this service. |
