Available. (Extrait du Casier Judiciare). For Nigerien residents and former residents of Niamey, judicial records may be obtained by writing to the Greffier en Chef, Palais de Justice, Niamey. For Nigeriens resident or formerly resident elsewhere in Niger, requests should be addressed to the Greffier en Chef of the Tribunal Regional with jurisdiction over their place of birth. These Tribunals are located at Dosso, Tahoua, Maradi, Agadez, and Zinder. For Nigeriens born/resident in Tillaberry, Diffa, Konni, and Arlit, requests must be submitted to the Greffier in Chef at the subordinate Sections de Tribunal serving their jurisdictions.
Nigeriens born outside Niger and foreigners resident or formerly resident in Niger can obtain their judicial records from the Greffier en Chef, Cour d'Appel, Niamey. Written requests from Nigeriens must include the applicant's birth certificate. Requests from foreigners must be accompanied by their pasport or, for residents of UEMOA countries in West Africa, their national identity card. Written requests from overseas must include a copy of the identity document certified at a Nigerien diplomatic mission. |
